Music (Violin & Choir)

Playing the violin demands very detailed attention, catching all the tiny details. In orchestra and ensemble settings, I learned how to balance individual expression in order to create a harmonious, balanced sound. Playing the instrument taught me how to develop my sense of timing and responsibility with every note, reinforcing that real, meaningful performances demand more listening. Similarly, choir taught me to listen beyond myself--blending my voice with others, breathing together, and trusting collective discipline to create a unified sound.
